Millennials or Generation Y is the one following Generation X. Although sociologists do not agree on when this era started, Generation Y is known as the generation born in the 1980s and 1990s.
Millennials are the largest and the most diverse generation, but also the most educated generation in history. If for example, for the Baby Boomers, a diploma was a job ticket, for the Millennials it was an expectation.
Millennials are ambitious and self-confident. They want more from life, they want to change and to make a difference. Even if they are permanently connected through social media and instant messaging, they prefer however the intimacy offered by face-to-face communication.
