With an average attention span of eight seconds, high impact visuals are the ones that attract teens. With Google the number one search engine and YouTube the close number two, it is pointed out the adolescents’ affinity for visual content. We should also pay attention to the ascension of Instagram, Snapchat and Pinterest and to the fact that books have lost ground to the videos. More than that, when communicating in written, teens use emoticons, digital stickers, memes and videos. So, it’s clear that this new generation is defined by colors and images and less by words.
